the specific and important challenges of our customers and our industry.
Tim Mortenson, CFO and Senior VP of Finance & Administration
Tim Mortenson joined CMS as CFO in 2000 and has worked closely with the other members of the management team to ensure
that our rapid growth is effectively managed and supported without distraction to customers around the world.
Prior to joining CMS, Tim was CFIO for Experitec and held senior financial management positions with Bairnco Corporation.
Mr. Mortenson is a graduate of Holy Cross College and holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Management at
Rutgers University.
Dave Reissig, Senior VP of Operations
Dave Reissing joined CMS in 1997 as Senior VP of Operations and has directed our customer support team to become the
leading provider of radiation oncology software service.
Previously, Dave contributed significantly to the leadership of Johnson & Johnson’s Clinical Diagnostics division
and Kodak’s Customer Education Services Division.
Mr. Reissig holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Southern Colorado.
Tim Rooney, Senior VP of International Sales
Tim Rooney joined CMS in 2000 as Regional Vice President of Latin America & Canada and has served as Senior VP of
International Sales since 2006, overseeing sales activities in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Latin America and the Asia
Pacific Regions.
Prior to joining CMS, Tim was Director of North American Sales for MDS Nordion's Oncology Systems Division and
Director of Global Sales at Theratronics International Limited.
Mr. Rooney has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hon) degree from the University of Ottawa, Canada.
Scott Brame, Senior VP, Clinical Design and Research
Scott Brame joined CMS' Medical Physics group in 2004, bringing with him a solid research background and a passion for improving the quality of patient
care. Previously, Scott was a Research Fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where his research included the development and implementation
of novel statistical techniques in areas such as adaptive radiotherapy and dose-response modeling.
Dr. Brame holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
David Murphy, Senior Director of Marketing and Communications
David Murphy joined CMS in 2003 and brings a unique blend of brand marketing, communications and metrics/analytics to the global marketing function.
Before joining CMS, David managed marketing for Sigma-Aldrich and held leadership positions at marketing agencies including Atkinson Marketing, Wolf Group,
Saatchi & Saatchi Business Communications and J. Walter Thompson. David holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Government from Connecticut College.
John Trecker, VP of Development
John Trecker joined CMS in 2004 as VP of Development, bringing expertise in software development and leadership to the
the Clinical Design, Software Engineering and Systems Engineering groups at CMS.
Previously, John was responsible for the global management and development of all software products for Viziqor and held
leadership positions at Stockell Health Systems, Data Research and McDonnell Douglas.
John holds degrees in computer science and psychology from Southern Illinois University.
Yasuo Ashino, President, CMS Japan
Yasuo Ashino founded CMS Japan and became its first President in November 2000.
Prior to joining CMS, Mr. Ashino introduced the first commercial RTP system, an Artronix PC-12, to the Japanese market and
has served as VP of Sales for Philips Medical Systems Japan.
Mr. Ashino is an active member of JASTRO and contributes to three of its committees.
Matthias Franz, Managing Director, CMS GmbH
Matthias Franz joined CMS in January of 2007 as Managing Director of CMS GmbH, bringing a broad cultural background
and sixteen years of clinical, sales & marketing and management experience to CMS' activities in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Before joining CMS, Matthias served in VP of Marketing & Sales positions for RADOS Technology GmbH and Synodys S.A., and
worked for three years as a Health Physicist in a hospital environment.
Mr. Franz holds a degree as Dipl.-Ing. in Health Physics from the University of Cooperative Education.
